October 5th is World Teacher's Day - a day to recognize educators around the globe. The theme this year is - "Education is a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change in our world." Thank you to all USD 447 teachers for all the hard work you do for our students in our part of the world!

Today is National Custodian Day, and USD 447 is fortunate to have the best custodians in the business! Thank you for all that you do for our schools on a daily basis for our students and staff!

KAY Club Officers & Board Members traveled to Greenbush on September 27th for their annual Leadership Retreat. Student leaders worked on conquering personal fears and coming together as a team. It was a great experience for all!

Congrats to LiliAnn Whittley for reaching 1,000 assists at yesterday's Charger Classic Volleyball Tournament. Great to see it happen on our own court. Go Chargers!

The final activity of the Fall 2023 homecoming at Cherryvale High School - Student Council President Mary Penland presents Cherryvale Food Bank board members Mark Dreisbach and Kathy Mustain with the proceeds from the week's activities. Thanks to the students, staff, and community members that came out in support of the Food Bank.

1st year FFA members traveled to Girard to attend the South East District FFA Greenhand Conference. They attended workshops on leadership skills, FFA information, & career opportunities. Greenhand Katie Hester medaled 9th overall in Greenhand Creed speaking Contest. Go Chargers!

Buddy Reading Day with the HS football team is one of the best days of the year, and certainly a great one for Homecoming week festivities! There were even some autographs signed.

Come out and show your support as the Charger Cheer squad as they raise money to attend UCA Camp in August and purchase tennis shoes and poms for the year!
