It was our annual pickleball unit this last week in middle school PE! We closed out the week with a big tournament. Fun end of the week to lead into spring break !

Charger Champs held their annual Unified Basketball game. What a game!! The choir sang, the band played, the cheerleaders cheered and the athletes played their hearts out. What a day to be a Charger.



Let's get ready to kick the spring season off next Friday in Chanute, where our Baseball and Softball teams hit the field for their Jamboree. Then on March 26th High School Throwers will open up at Caney followed by Middle School track on April 2nd.

Spring Practices are right around the corner! See the first day of practice schedules below. Team meetings have been held, so if your student did not attend, they will need to contact the coaches for more information. The High School Track team meeting will meet next week, before the first day of practice.

Cherryvale Middle School students Breckyn Armbruster and Anderson Jones will head to Wichita Friday to participate in KMEA All-State Middle Level Choir. They will prepare all day with students across the state and perform at 5:05 p.m. at Century 2 in Wichita. This event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased at selectseat.com. Chargers are headed to STATE! Cherryvale High School Wrestling is sending 11 athletes to compete at Fort Hays State University this weekend for a chance at a State Title. Wrestling begins Friday at 9:00 a.m. and winners will advance to the finals on Saturday. Good Luck to and safe travels to our State Bound Wrestlers this weekend! Let's fill the stands Friday evening, as the Lady Chargers will host Galena for the first round of 3A Sub-State Quarterfinals. Gates open at 5:00 p.m. with tip-off at 6:00 p.m. Let's go Lady Chargers!

Head on over to Girard on Thursday evening to support the Cherryvale High School Boys Basketball team as they face Girard in the first round of 3A Sub-State basketball playoffs. Gates open at 4:45 and tip-off is at 6:00 p.m.

30+ CMHS 9th-11th grade students attended an informational visit day at Pittsburg State University. This event included a tour of both the Crossland College of Technology Campus to learn about the many technical programs offered at Pitt State and a tour of Pitt State's main campus. Students were also able to learn more about campus life from current PSU Students during an informational panel discussion. This event gave many of our students the opportunity to learn more about the amazing possibilities for their futures.




Please join the Cherryvale FFA on Saturday from 8am to 10am in the High School cafeteria for our community breakfast! They will have togo boxes for those of you needing to grab it and go.
