Monday, August 18th, begins the first day of practices for CMHS fall athletes. Attached is a look at the first week of practices, including the Sports Drink Scrimmage on Saturday.

Don't miss out, our youngest cheerleaders of the district will be kicking off the season, cheering on our athletes! Bring those lawn chairs, drinks to donate to our athletes, and enjoy some Charger Athletics!

CMHS Announcements August 18-August 24

CMHS student Athletes and Parents, please add to your calendars an All Fall Sport Parent Meeting Monday, August 18th, @ 6:15 p.m., CMHS Gym. If your child is participating in a Fall Sport, please attend this meeting to hear important information on how to stay informed and involved in Charger Athletics.

Athletes, the first day of practices can begin on Monday, August 18th. If you have not turned in your physical to the office, you will not be able to participate. Please take these 2 weeks to get your required documents on file in the office by the first day of practice.

Senior Parking Opportunity:
Senior parking selection will take place August 9, at 8:00 AM. You are more than welcome to stick around and paint your “spot” after the selection is made. Please have your spot completed by August 17. You will also need to have your spot returned to the original color of “black” before senior check out May 8, 2026. There will be a $100.00 fee assessed to your final fee if not completed. You will need to bring all supplies needed to personalize your Sr Parking spot. Newton’s Hardware has all the supplies needed. GO CHARGERS.

CHS Track team traveled to Fredonia for the 3A Regional Track Meet. These kids showed up and competed hard and we are proud of their accomplishments this season. The following students competed today: Jaamal Mason - High Jump & 300M hurdles (10th) Aiden Ecret - 1600M (13th) Cooper Smith - Discus (7th) Shot (2nd) Addy Boss - Discus (3rd) Shot (6th) Alayna Collins - 100M dash Maycee Dean - 100M dash, 200M dash (8th) Congratulations to Cooper Smith and Addy Boss qualifying for the State Track Meet Friday May 30th and Saturday May 31st in Wichita at WSU's Cessna Stadium.
