30+ CMHS 9th-11th grade students attended an informational visit day at Pittsburg State University. This event included a tour of both the Crossland College of Technology Campus to learn about the many technical programs offered at Pitt State and a tour of Pitt State's main campus. Students were also able to learn more about campus life from current PSU Students during an informational panel discussion. This event gave many of our students the opportunity to learn more about the amazing possibilities for their futures.

FCCLA Students on Wednesday, went to help run STAR Events and submitted an LEO for competition! An LEO stands for Leadership Education Opportunities. These help students gain experience and confidence in competitive events as well as more knowledge of FCCLA! With the LEO's, they will be able to attend the State Leadership Conference in April!
The students who didn't complete an LEO or STAR Event today had the opportunity to help run the timers for the judges and also learn what a STAR Event is!
Also a big shout-out to Mrs. Whittley for helping out by being a judge for District J-West!
