Our talented junior high tech students in Mr. Dick's class have designed and pressed a lot of awesome shirts themselves! We are incredibly proud of their creativity, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit as they sell them to our community at ball games. Many of them have also been working on their 3-D modeling skills with some 3D printed projects including name tags, coaster sets, and signs. If you're interested in purchasing shirts, hats, or 3D-printed items, please email cdick@usd447.org or call the school office at 620-522-2109.

Thayer preschool and Senior citizens met for a Mother Goose Tea Party. Student recited 16 or more nursery rhymes and visited while enjoying refreshments. It is a great day when generational relationships are made!

We are so thankful to have staff in our schools who are always willing to step up and help wherever they are needed! We were short-staffed today for various reasons, and one person after another chipped in and helped however they could. Interim Superintendent Mr. Knight even showed up at just the right time and jumped right in to help us in the cafeteria this afternoon! It takes everyone working together to make our schools run smoothly, and days like today are a great reminder of the kind of people we are fortunate to have on our team. Thank you, everyone! We truly appreciate you!
