Many of our 8th graders got the experience of mixing, pouring, and finishing a sidewalk section this afternoon for our school. They enjoyed it and did an awesome job with 24 bags! Great group of kids that excel in both academics and learning life skills.

We enjoyed hosting many of our Flyer Fan Club business sponsors today for a luncheon prepared and served by our students!

The finish of the joint Preschool field trip- science and social activities.

Clover and Willie!

Great day of making music at the Mineral Belt League Music Day at Oswego. Thayer students have been excellent leaders today showing what good citizenship, musicianship and hard work really looks like! Great job, Flyers!!

What a wonderful resource our district has in Greenbush. Both Thayer and Cherryvale preschools had a science field trip to Greenbush . The students loved the bus ride experience and were brave enough to pet some animals. Then we shared a picnic lunch at Thayer School and time on the playground, before the rides back to home or school.

Calf #2 has made an appearance at the school, just 48 hours after the other! Calf is healthy and has a great momma! Huge shoutout to Jesse, Joseph, and Scott from John Farms who assisted, as this one needed pulled. Great experience some of our junior high who got to be apart of this evening.
Our small town community partnerships give our students possibilities that wouldn't otherwise be available.

Our PreK students decided to name our new calf Clover!🍀

Our newest addition at Thayer Schools!

Thayer junior high took part in a pajama day and RAD day (read all day) for the end of Dr. Seuss week. They also brought in various snacks for their relaxing day of reading with their friends and classmates.

Some of our junior high students designed and 3D printed nameplates for the newly renovated dugout at our Cherryvale High School baseball team. (Still have a few in progress!) They even added a little Flyer emblem for those Thayer junior high grads of recent years.

Mr. Dicks 8th grade Ag class got to learn how to transplant hundreds of small assorted flowers, vegetables, and other plants with Mrs. O'Brien in anticipation for a spring plant sale.
Be on the lookout for our sale this April!

Kindergarten chad the opportunity to stop by the school farm in addition to their 3D printing club!

We would once again like to say THANK YOU to all of our business and family sponsors that supported our staff and students this school year! We couldn't do it without your help!

Puzzles club!

Thank you Robert for supporting our students and getting each of our state choir participants a plaque tonight!

8th grade Ag/Life 101 have had an eventful last couple days with life skills. They learned and practiced changing oil and basic maintainance on vehicles, lawnmowers, and four wheelers. They also went over more cooking essentials, making their own breakfast burritos with ground sausage, eggs, onions, and peppers with Mr. Dick.

Good luck to our state choir students as they head to Wichita today to compete!

Some of the Life 101 students made Dave at Bargain Barn a birthday card today!
