Students are learning how to enhance their roles as school and community leaders and are developing a vision for the ways to improve their school. Students were also able to play some games and engage in team building activities to improve their communication skills.

On Friday, Nov. 8, CMHS 8th and 9th graders were treated to a live performance of William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Through a program called Shakespeare to Schools, ICC's theater department was able to bring the Shakespeare production to CMHS so students could experience the classic tragedy first-hand. There was also a Q & A session after the production where students were able to ask questions and give feedback to the cast and crew, which included CMHS alum Lauren Hugo. Since the freshmen are currently studying the play, this was a unique opportunity for them to see their schoolwork come to life in the real world.
