
Tonight the Lady Chargers will face off against Olpe at 3:30 for 3rd place and the boys will battle Sedan at 8:00 for the title of Consolation Champions.



Cherryvale HS Art/Graphic Design student Morgan Lasco took 2nd in an interpretive self portrait contest held by the ICC Fab Lab. Her work titled “Out of focus, out of mind” was rated Runner-up overall and awarded her a cash prize.



Cherryvale High School Basketball Varsity basketball teams are competing this week in Yates Center in the Winter Wildcat Classic.
Monday night the Lady Chargers came out with a big victory over Yates Center winning 57-9. The boys came up short 36-39 with a very exciting back and fourth game.
Come out and support the Chargers on Thursday evening as the Ladies face off against Eureka at 6:30 p.m. and the Boys will take on Bluestem at 8:00 p.m.



Cherryvale Middle School hosted Fredonia last night for basketball, Monday December 9.


Cherryvale Middle School Student Council attended the quarterly Leadership Conference at Greenbush. Students are learning how to enhance their roles as school and community leaders and are developing a vision for the ways to improve their school. Students were also able to play some games and engage in team building activities to improve their communication skills.

Middle School staff came together and provided a home cooked, home style Thanksgiving lunch. Students helped to prepare the tables, and decorations, and sat family style around a table. Thank you CMS staff for your caring dedication to our students. Students enjoyed the home cooked meal and desserts and loved when the call came for seconds! Thank you to our wonderful CMS staff and all those who helped to make today a memory.

Congratulations to the following TVL All-League selections for High School Football: Carsen Ellis LB, Cooper Smith DL & OL, Mason Bruggman DL, Eli Walters DE, Bricen Raida DB & WR.



The CMS Chess Team of Zadin Blake, Shawn House, Josh Hughes, and Anderson Jones competed in Columbus Saturday. As a team they finished in a three-way tie for 2nd through 4th place by wins and ended the day in 4th place by tie-breaks. Individually Shawn placed 9th, Zadin placed 13th, Anderson placed 14th, and Josh placed 26th out of 56 competitors in the k-8 division.


MS students not participating in the Regional Kay event went to the Tulsa Air & Space Museum today.








Winter Sports Player/Parent Meeting Wednesday November 20th at 5:30 in the CMHS Gym.

Class 2A District 1 All-District Team has finalized selections. Congratulations to the following Chargers: Cayden Evenson WR Honorable Mention, Cooper Smith OL, Mason Bruggman OL, Cooper Smith DL, Carsen Ellis LB Honorable Mention, and Bricen Raida DB Honorable Mention.
Tri-Valley League Football Selections will be released when all League schools have completed their season.


On Saturday, November 9th, Savana Douthit and Brooklynn Clerk placed 6th place at the Parsons Novice Debate Tournament with a record of 2-3.


Come to CMHS on Friday to enjoy the CMHS Drama Class production of "It's a Mad House". There will be a free will donation dinner Friday, November 15 at 5:00 PM with the play to start at 6:00 PM.
