Each year the first full week in May is dedicated to the nation's teachers as National Teacher Appreciation Week. USD 447 is fortunate to have some of the most caring dedicated teachers in the business! This week when you see a teacher, thank them for their efforts with students and for helping to shape lives everyday. Thank you, teachers for all that you do to help shape the future!
The first Friday in May, schools across the nation celebrate National School Lunch Hero Day. USD 447 Cherryvale Thayer has the best food service staff in the land! In fact, it was recently reported by a student that they were "EXEMPLARY"! Thank you, ladies, for all that you do for our students and staff, to keep us healthy and well fed!

USD 447 Cherryvale Thayer is blessed to have some of the most dedicated, caring, and hardworking Principals in the business. Mr. Renfro, Mr. Knight, and Mr. Rehmert, thank you for all that you do for our students, staff, and patrons every day!
