Reminder: school is dismissed at noon today. Thanks for a great year!
Trenton and Lane, a couple of our jr. high students, had the opportunity to give a presentation on showing their pig and dog today to other students. Both students are active in local livestock shows and talked about how they present at a show, along with how they take care of their animals. We always love to see students also pursue their interests outside of the standard classroom.

Preschool visited the Kindergarten Classroom and frosted cookies today. Two fun days ahead!

Congrats to the Cherryvale Chargers, 2026 TVl Champs! Great season boys!

4th and 5th grade earned some time at the farm today. They enjoyed making s'mores!

Mrs. Van Peursem had an awesome Friday club session today. Younger students paired up with older students to create and engineer a cardboard city.

Our 8th graders had another successful agriculture trip as their time at Thayer junior high comes to an end soon. These kids have raised cattle, chickens, and goats along with learning about the basics of processing livestock (and doing it). They also got some fishing in early to start the day.
An extremely well rounded group of fantastic students, not only in their academic pursuits, but also in their passions outside of the classroom. Thanks to Susan and Gene Cox for partnering with us today on this round of processing!

We would like to thank Mandy and Josiah Kephart with Kephart Feed for sponsoring our 8th grade promotion night and dance this Thursday! We are thankful for their contributions and support.

Reminder: PreK and 8th grade promotion will start at 6:00 this Thursday. We will start the evening with a few scholarships, followed by our PreK program, and then finish the night with 8th grade promotion.

4th/5th grade transplanted irises from Thayer Acres to our school today!

Our 8th grade has been doing some research on drugs/alcohol and the effects it has on your body in PE.
Today, Master Trooper Brett Goins, came and spoke to the class about what he sees on the day to day in his job and real life effects of drugs and alcohol, helping connect classroom knowledge to real-world consequences.
We appreciate Master Trooper Goins for his time and coming to share with the class.

After the rain settled in Neodesha, we ended up competing well in a beautiful setting for a track meet.

Many of our PreK-6th students competed in their first track meet ever. About 30 of our students are competing this year through our community's youth recreation. Congratulations to these competitors who had a lot of success while trying in something new.

Last night was such a great evening. Our students did an amazing job performing in band, choir, and "Bingo" the musical. In addition, we had an art show throughout the hallway and plants for sale in the shop that had been grown at our very own school Farm. Great night to be a flyer!

Friday Club Fun: Building Club made Marshmallow Towers

STUCO spent some time reading with Kindergarten today! First the Kindergarteners read decodable readers they have been practicing to their partner. Then, their STUCO partner read picture books to the Kindergarteners!
