Twenty-two of the 118 CMHS KAY Club members attended the Unit Conference for their area on Monday at Marmaton Valley High School in Moran, KS. Members had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of attending KAY Leadership Camp in the summer, were able to participate in a service project that benefited the Ronald McDonald House, and collaborated with other KAY members from the surrounding areas. Afterwards, members participated in a service project where they helped reorganize and clean at McKinley. While at conference, members received some fancy signage to add to the outdoor classroom that Lincoln Central will have next year that was partially funded by the Be the Spark Grant through KAY Club. The club also realized at the conference that Cherryvale Middle-High School has the biggest club in our area! Go Chargers!
