Mr. DeRosa from Coffeyville Community Colleges was on campus the first 3 hours giving demos and scholarship opportunities to CHS students. This is an annual event for Mr. Lickteig's art class. Go Chargers.

Selected USD 447 MS band and choir students had a great day of making music yesterday in Humboldt for the Tri-Valley League Music Festival. Students were selected by their teachers to attend this special event and were required to do extra rehearsals and even private practice to prepare for this day of combining with other TVL schools to put on a concert at the end of the day! We had 19 choir students and 9 band students that attended and they all did a GREAT job at working hard and leading their sections throughout their day. Thank you to all that prepared and participated! It was a wonderful day of music!

Great News! USD 447 is partnering with Jock's Nitch in Parsons. Be on the lookout for new apparel to be offered in store. All Adidas branded products are 30% off for all students, teachers, faculty, and families.

The spring talent show was held today at CMHS. What an amazing afternoon of students and staff stepping out of their comfort zone to entertain the student body. Great Job Chargers.

Big thanks to ICC for organizing such a fantastic event that brought our local music community together. The students got to work with two college professors who had some great insight and tips as we prepare for the state contest. Here are some snapshots from the clinic. Picture credit to ICC
